Fishguard connects South West
Wales with Rosslare on the South coast of Ireland. The ferry terminal at
Rosslare is Ireland's second largest passenger port and is the closest point
from the southern point of Ireland to the UK.

Rosslare is a popular and pleasant
seaside resort in southern Ireland and is in the sunniest part of Ireland on
record and has a popular beach amongst families, swimmers and kite surfers.
The Rosslare Blue Flag Beach runs the length of the southern peninsula which
continues into Wexford Harbour. The beach is accessed by various walkways
and the main car park.
Other attractions for tourists
are its sporting facilities, mainly situated around the beach, but Rosslare also
offers golf courses and tennis courts, with the perfect conditions on offer
during the summer.
Fishguard
In Pembrokeshire south Wales, the port is located to the
west side of the bay. The Fishguard terminal is run by Stena Line.
